Ashlee Simpson should have something to celebrate when she kicks off the tour in support of her just-released second album, I Am Me: The LP is expected to debut in one of the top spots on the Billboard albums chart next week.
Simpson is finishing up a string of promo dates next week, but she'll kick off the official tour on November 9 in Portland, Maine. Bolstered by an incident-free appearance on "Saturday Night Live" earlier this month, the newly blond Ashlee will be on the road through mid-December, playing a mix of headlining dates and Christmas radio shows.
